Spring Break in Italy

St. Joseph’s U Women’s Soccer followed up their successful 2016 campaign which culminated in a trip to the Atlantic 10 Championship Game with a Spring Break 2017 trip to northern Italy. The team spent time in Milan, Lake Como, Verona and Venice. They even added stamps to their passports with trips across the border into Switzerland and the tiny principality of San Marino.

The tour included 3 games against Serie A and Serie B teams, a guided visit to AC Milan’s home Casa Milan and tickets to the Serie A match Inter Milan vs. Atalanta at the world famous San Siro Stadium

Culture, cuisine and Cupid

As well as the excellent soccer, the Hawks also experienced all that is great about northern Italy – from the culture of a guided tour of Milan, to the serenity of Lake Como, the culinary delights of Modena and Parma, and the charm of guided tours of Verona (home of Romeo and Juliet) and the City of Romance, Venice
